Dr. Richard Huynh is a fully trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with extensive experience in cosmetic/aesthetic surgery covering both the face and body. His passion for anatomy combined with his artistry led him down the path of becoming an exemplary plastic surgeon. He treats all his patients as a whole and enjoys learning about them prior to safely performing their procedures.
Dr Huynh received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He then went on to complete general surgery residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as chief resident. During his residency, he trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition Dr Huynh completed a Reconstructive Burn Fellowship at the Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island NY.
Dr Huynh continued his training at the top-notch PCOM Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in Philadelphia, PA , where he trained with renowned plastic, craniofacial, micro and hand surgeons from the Jefferson Hand Center, St Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Hahnemann University Hospital, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Reading Hospital, and Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College, where he served as chief fellow. He also had the great opportunity to train at the Philadelphia Transgender Center in Gender Affirmation Surgery with the renown Dr. Sherman Leis.
With well over a decade of surgical training, Dr Huynh has performed thousands of operations, gaining a wealth of surgical experience, enabling him to offer extensive opinions on various cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
